Puppy Training Hints

Bringing home a new puppy is a really exciting time for the whole family. Everyone is is agreeable to bringing a happy, entertaining, cuddly puppy into the home.

There are weekly emails coming in all of the time from pround new puppy owners, along with a variety of questions on housetraining, housebreaking along with obedience training, diet and nutrition.

The soundest advice anyone can start off with for any new, or prospective puppy owner is summed up in one word: Socialization. Concentrate on socializing the puppy as much as you possibly can. Take your puppy along with you anywhere you can. Its fun for you and especially them, as each new experience is an adventure. Take the puppy around people, places, sights, smells and other dog friendly dogs and animals.

It is a long established fact that a properly socialized puppy is going to be a much more stable animal as an adult.
